Representing the east central portion of the municipality of Saanich, Saanich East comprises nineteen neighborhoods. Many of these areas are some of the most desired places to live; Cordova Bay, Broadmead, Sunnymead, High Quadra and Quadra to name a few.

The outermost eastern end of Saanich East boasts a long strip of coastline stretching into the Pacific Ocean - presenting panoramic views of Haro Strait and San Juan Islands for those lucky enough to reside there.
